The first ducks we had were Rouen and Blue Swedish. Since we have so much running water and thick woods we also have minks and owels. We lost the first batch to minks so we looked for another breed that could keep up the population.

Runners are prolific layers and seem to be good mothers. Usually two ducks will make a nest right next to each other.

We have many different colors.
